Magic Slides Appender Privacy Policy
What information do we collect?
The Google Workspace Add-on Magic Slides Appender collects no data whatsoever from the users. Not so Magic Apps has no access to any of your Google Data that you connect the Add-on to. The Add-on will process your data from your Google Workspace (Forms, Classroom, and Slides) to function properly; however, at no point is this information saved on our servers or transferred outside of your Google account. The only data that is processed is part of the Add-on's core functionality, such as gathering your Google Classroom assignments or form submissions, but again, at no point is this information saved or transferred by Not so Magic Apps. All configuration settings (such as your chosen class, assignment, and formatting preferences) are stored strictly within the Document Properties of your own Google Form.
The specific types of Google user data Magic Slides Appender accesses during its operations controlled by you are:
Google Forms: Used to read the questions on your active form to populate the setup sidebar, generate an automatic submission trigger, and read the answers submitted by respondents to generate feedback.
Google Classroom Courses, Coursework, & Submissions: Used to list your active Google Classrooms, the assignments within them, and access the file IDs of student slide decks attached to those assignments.
Google Slides: Used to open the specific student presentation and append the generated feedback (such as inserting new slides, creating tables, or modifying speaker notes) based on your chosen settings.
All of the above are only accessed by the Add-on during its normal operations, and none of this data is transferred to or saved by Not so Magic Apps.
Magic Slides Appender's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, as well as adhering to the Google APIs Terms of Service.
We only collect information from you directly when you report a problem via our Google Form or purchase a subscription for Magic Slides Appender. This is the only time any data is collected or recorded by us. We collect your name and email address if you choose to purchase one of our Add-on packages. This information is only collected to send confirmation emails and renewal notices. All information is kept secure and not shared with anyone.
Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data, and access to this data is severely restricted and protected. The highest security measures are put in place to ensure all personal data is protected. Access to all data is protected with multi-factor authentication. We also follow data minimisation so that the very minimum of data is ever stored and recorded.

Any of the information we collect from you (via support requests or purchases) may be used in one of the following ways:
To improve our Add-on (we continually strive to improve our Add-on offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you).
To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs).
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever.
